Here is the simple truth: The gift of thought is powerful. Stop trying to make yourself more acceptable, more reasonable, more enlightened. Get really comfortable with the yucky you and open yourself to the possibility that there is nothing really wrong with feeling terrible. The beauty of seeing thought as a gift is that every gift, no matter how helpful or practical, is still that – a gift!
